Q) I feel so great since starting The Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement program. Why is it necessary I come back at least twice a year?
A) Continuous monitoring of blood levels and symptom management is very important to our practice. Hormones fluctuate and the body changes as we age. Keeping modest levels of estrogen and progesterone is key to prevention of breast cancer.
Ongoing monitoring of patient and blood levels of hormones is important in our practice. Women vary in their response to hormones, which should be kept at optimal levels in each woman. Too little and too much of anything is undesirable. Also, we implement measures to prevent heart attacks, strokes, osteoporosis, dementia and cancer, and make sure our patients are following all of these treatment modalities correctly.
