As we get older the skin on the back of our hands loses it’s volume and hydration, becoming thinner and revealing prominent veins which results in a more bony appearance and older looking hands.
Radiesse is the first and only FDA-approved product for hand contouring to correct volume loss in the hands.
Radiesse restores volume to the hands while providing smooth, natural-looking results that can be seen immediately and can last up to 1 year.

Follow these 5 tips for Brighter Skin
- Wash your face when you wake up AND before you go to bed every night. (Use a cleanser that exfoliates to provide a brightening boost).
- Hydrate your skin from the inside out by drinking water. This also helps to detoxify impurities in your skin.
- Include high powered Anti-Oxidants in your skincare regimen. Skins’ main function is to act as a protecting barrier. It’s important to provide our skin the nutrients to build a strong and healthy barrier.
- Use a retinol product at night. Retinol is a vitamin A derivative that helps very effectively tackle lines and wrinkles, hydrate skin, boost collagen production and helps enhance cell renewal rate making your skin look soft, smooth and flawless.
- Protect your investment daily with a multi-tasking sunscreen. A high quality SPF should spread on your skin elegantly and include peptides for firming, anti-oxidants for hydrating and prevention against UV photodamage.
Get started with basic products. These staple products should be in every skincare routine.
#1 Exfoliating Cleanser (Apply in the Morning & at Night)
#2 Anti-Oxidant & SPF (Apply in the Morning)
#3 Lightening & Brightening (Apply at Night)

Are there any studies on BioIdentical Hormone Replacement?
Yes! We often are asked by patients for information that can be sent to their OBGYN or insurance company regarding bio-identical hormone therapy for menopause, perimenopause or PMS.
Dr. Mahmud published a study in the journal of Gynecological Endocrinology where 97% of the patientsexperienced relief of menopausal symptoms. The article is called “Natural Hormone Therapy for Menopause”. A summary of the article can be read here. If you would like to receive a copy of the full article, contact us.
Dr. Mahmud’s book, Keeping aBreast, Ways to PREVENT Breast Cancer also contains a lot of great information explaining the different hormones and how bio-identical hormone replacement plays a role in helping to prevent breast cancer. A copy of Dr. Mahmud’s book is available for purchase in our clinic.
Additional studies for women Dr. Sinda often references can be looked up via the links below:
I am a sculptor in my free time and love creating a natural, refreshed face. I love injecting Radiesse especially in the upper cheeks. Radiesse is a dermal filler that adds volume to help smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds.
As we age, skin loses natural support structures that keep skin supple and youthful. As the years go by, collagen and elastin diminish within the skin and gravity over the years has an effect of taking volume from the upper face to the lower face resulting in more volume accumulating from the nose to the chin. Our face also has two fat pads underneath the eyes that begin to split, resulting in a crease makes a person look older and tired. By injecting Radiesse into this crease, the face is smoother and looks less tired thus appears fresher and younger.
By injecting Radiesse in the upper face I am able to provide a lift to the lower half of the face and am able to diminish the creases beside the nose and mouth.
Most of the comments that clients hear after a “liquid facelift” is “you look so good”, or “you must be sleeping well”, “you look so refreshed”!
I would be happy to sit down with you and create a plan to refresh your face. Feel free to pop in the clinic or call and ask for me.

A Fire and Ice Treatment is designed to resurface the skin.
This intensive clinical treatment reduces fine lines and wrinkles and provides deep cleansing of blocked pores.
It starts with two masque applications followed by application of a serum and a cream to soothe and moisturize the skin.
The treatment takes less than 30 minutes, but is incredibly effective and to the point!
What is the “Fire” of the Fire and Ice?
The “Fire” portion of the treatment is an Intensive Resurfacing Masque clinically formulated with 18% unbuffered glycolic acid, citric acid, lactic acid, malic acid, vitamin B3, retinol and potent antioxidants, including green tea extracts. The treatment is designed for use on the face, neck and décolleté. Some people find this part of the treatment warms up their skin and tolerate it well. A stimulating cinnamon fragrance will wake up your senses.
What is the “Ice” of the Fire and Ice?
The “Ice” portion is a rejuvenating, cool, soothing and intensively hydrating masque with hyarluronic acid, Japanese green tea extracts, aloe vera gel, licorice extracts, rosemary extracts and grape seed extracts. This second masque cools the initial peel to leave the skin invigorated and glowing.
The Finishing Touch:
A moisturizing serum and sunscreen are applied to the face. Some people experience redness for a short time after treatment that usually subsides within minutes to a couple of hours. Be sure to wear a sunscreen for several days and avoid direct sun exposure.
Important to Know:
This treatment is called a facial but is more like a chemical peel, with deeper, long lasting results, with NO downtime. To target wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, skin tone evenness and firmness, you need to work from the inside out. The treatment uses a chemical exfoliant that safely resurfaces the skin, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, smoothing, softening and encouraging cellular renewal. Often our clients like to have this treatment to get ready for big events because their skin looks so good.
What to Expect:
- a glowing complexion – skin feels tighter and firmer after treatment
- you may experience a mild redness immediately after
- you may repeat the facial at 4 week intervals – 6 treatments are recommended for maximum benefit
Who is a Good Candidate?
The Fire and Ice Facial is great for all skin types. However, the facial cannot be performed if you are currently using any type of retinols or Accutane – please contact us ahead of time if you are using those products.
